Ingredients with integrity
Every choice matters.
From soil health to sourcing, certifications to clean processing, we believe great chai starts long before it reaches your cup.
We are committed to creating products that are honest, transparent and respectful of the people and ecosystems behind them.

It begins with stewardship
Long before ingredients reach our kitchen, they begin in living soils, thriving ecosystems and the hands of skilled growers.
We seek ingredients grown with care. Ingredients that respect the land they come from and the people who cultivate them.
Healthy soil. Honest sourcing. Exceptional flavour.
Because the quality of what you consume begins long before the cup.
Sourced with Respect
From wild-crafted ingredients to carefully cultivated crops, we work with growers who prioritise soil health, biodiversity and long-term stewardship.
Beyond Certification
Organic and biodynamic certifications can be valuable tools, but they are not the whole story. We look beyond labels to understand how ingredients are actually grown and produced.
Clean from Start to Finish
From cultivation and harvesting to processing and packaging, we strive to minimise unnecessary chemicals and maintain the integrity of every ingredient.
Our Ethos
Every aspect counts toward the final product.
Wild-crafted. Organic. Batch brewed. Grower direct. Regenerative. Conscious.
These aren't marketing terms for us. They are principles that guide how we source, produce and do business.
Wild-Crafted & Regenerative
Some ingredients are best grown. Others are best left to nature.
From Brazil nuts harvested in native forests to spices cultivated using regenerative farming methods, we seek ingredients that work with natural systems rather than against them.
We believe healthy soil, healthy ecosystems and healthy food are inseparable.
Beyond Fair Trade
Trade is ultimately about relationships.
Traditional fair-trade systems helped improve transparency and outcomes for producers, but they can also create distance between growers and buyers.
Where possible, we favour direct relationships with growers and cooperatives. These partnerships encourage knowledge sharing, better economic outcomes for producers, and stronger communities.
When growers produce exceptional ingredients, we believe they deserve recognition and reward.
Certifications Explained
Certifications help create transparency and accountability.
Organic, Biodynamic and Demeter certifications all play a role in helping consumers understand how products are produced.
But certifications are only one part of the story. Some exceptional growers operate beyond certification requirements, while others use certifications as an important framework for continual improvement.
Our goal is not blind faith in labels, but informed understanding.
We believe exceptional chai starts long before the spices are blended. Soil health, growing practices, harvesting methods and relationships with growers all influence the quality of the final product. We source ingredients with the same care that we put into brewing.
Many of our ingredients are certified organic, while others come from growers whose farming practices align with our values, even if they do not hold formal certification. We believe certifications are valuable, but they are only one part of the story.
Grower direct means building relationships as close to the source as possible. By working directly with growers and cooperatives, we gain greater transparency into how ingredients are produced and help ensure a fairer outcome for the people growing them.
Organic farming focuses on avoiding synthetic pesticides and fertilisers. Biodynamic farming goes further, viewing the farm as a living ecosystem and emphasising soil vitality, biodiversity and regenerative practices. Both approaches aim to produce healthier food while caring for the environment.
Regenerative agriculture seeks to improve the health of the land over time. This includes building healthy soils, increasing biodiversity, reducing synthetic inputs and working with natural ecosystems rather than against them. The goal is not just sustainability, but leaving the land in better condition for future generations.
Certification can be expensive and time consuming, particularly for smaller growers. Some farmers follow organic or regenerative practices for decades without pursuing formal certification. We believe it is important to understand the whole story behind an ingredient, not just the label attached to it.

Taste the Difference
When ingredients are sourced thoughtfully, grown responsibly and processed with care, the result speaks for itself.
