The Arriba Nacional cacao beans Endorfin use to craft this bar are smooth and strong, with flavor notes of hazelnut, cashew, and orchid. Endorfin choose not to roast their cacao beans, which pays homage to the flavor and genetics unique to this uncommon varietal. Additionally, the cacao Endorfin uses to craft this bar is wildcrafted direct from the small biodiverse plots in the Ecuadorian backcountry. Endorfin pays a premium to the small community of harvesters who maintain this heirloom strain of cacao to promote a sustainable alternative to the clear-cutting and mono-cropping techniques that have decimated millions of acres of rainforest over the last century.
